Welcome—I’m Mia
A United States Army veteran, former model, author, creative, student, and entrepreneur with a deep appreciation for books, music, fashion, beauty, and meaningful service.
Although I am a private person who treasures peace and a life of purpose, I believe every journey has a story worth sharing. Mine has been shaped by discipline, creativity, resilience, service, and the courage to build something of my own.
My time in the United States Army gave me the opportunity to travel across the world in service to my country. Military life taught me far more than occupational skills—it strengthened my character and helped me become more disciplined, adaptable, resourceful, and selfless. Those lessons continue to influence how I approach business, education, relationships, and everyday life.
Before and beyond entrepreneurship, I worked as a model, an experience that deepened my appreciation for style, presentation, beauty, and personal expression. Fashion has always been more than clothing to me. It is a language—a way to communicate confidence, creativity, individuality, and mood without saying a word.
Today, I am expanding my creative abilities through specialized vocational studies in audio, sound engineering, and music production. Music has always been one of the things that moves me most, and learning the technical side of sound allows me to unite creativity with precision. I enjoy understanding not only how music makes us feel, but also how it is recorded, shaped, mixed, and brought to life.
I am also an author who has written about passive income and the importance of creating opportunities beyond traditional employment. I believe knowledge becomes especially valuable when it can help others think differently, become more independent, and recognize new possibilities for their lives.
Entrepreneurship is another important part of my story. I own and operate an online grocery store and a luxury boutique, while also helping manage a luxury hair and beauty store for my mother. Each business serves a different purpose, but they are connected by the same values: quality, care, dependability, and an elevated customer experience.
Mia’s Closet is a reflection of my love for beautiful things and my belief that style should feel personal, exciting, and accessible. This is more than an online boutique—it is a carefully curated destination for fashion, jewelry, swimwear, beauty, and special finds selected to help every customer feel confident and uniquely herself.
To me, luxury is not defined by a price tag. My definition of luxury rests within quality—the quality of a product, the care behind a service, the thoughtfulness of an experience, and the way something makes you feel. True luxury can be found in excellent craftsmanship, genuine customer care, personal peace, meaningful time, and the freedom to live authentically.
Giving back is also close to my heart. Some of the organizations I am especially proud to support include the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, the American Red Cross, and Patriots and Paws. Their work reflects causes that matter deeply to me: helping families experiencing food insecurity, supporting people during emergencies and disasters, and honoring veterans through practical assistance.
At heart, I am a woman who values privacy, peace, family, creativity, service, and continued growth. I am a veteran and a student, a former model and an author, a daughter and a businesswoman. My interests may span books, music, fashion, beauty, and entrepreneurship, but the common thread is purpose.
